Overheard . . . Suspicious Minds

On Friday, Addison's pre-school will be learning about emotions. Heather was prepping him for what they'll be studying, and he asked what emotions were. Heather listed a few: angry, sad, happy . . . and then he interrupted the list with this question:

"What about suspicious?"
I don't know. Is that an emotion? I say yes. And just for fun, this is a drawing of the recliners in Addison's friend's basement. Maybe my favorite drawing ever.

  1. I used to have these two friends, Joey and Chandler, who had matching recliners. Maybe Addison and his friend will aspire to be like them someday (hopefully not).

  2. Well he's got the sound effects down. When he was explaining what the chairs were, he said, "You push the handle, like this (chc-chc) and your feet go up . . . oooooh."

  3. Oh I love it. I am going to post a pic of the note Noah brought home from school from one of his friends- to me!

  6. Okay Addison wants to know what y'all mean by that. You making fun of his drawing? If so, we both suggest you print out a copy, roll it up real tight, and insert it.

  9. I'm wondering if I'm thinking what everyone else is thinking when they see this picture, but I'm too afraid to say what I'm thinking in case no one else is thinking that same thing.

  10. I think everyone is thinking the same thing. But if the four year old (who chokes in fits of hilarious laughter at the mention of poo, pee, butts, and wee wees) is the only one who isn't thinking that, I would think the rest of us could rise above, yeah? :)
